AstraZeneca Joins Access to THEW Database
AstraZeneca purchased a one-year membership to access the Telemetric and Holter ECG Warehouse (THEW). The database was formed by a partnership between the University of Rochester Medical Center, FDA, and the NIH’s National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute and consists of a digital catalogue of continuous electrocardiographic recordings from cardiac patients and healthy individuals, as well as electrocardiograms from safety studies implemented by major pharmaceutical companies. Mortara Awarded Two Fed Contracts
Mortara Instruments, a manufacturer and distributor of ECG devices and technologies, announced it received a multi-contract award from the FDA for continued maintenance of its ECG Warehouse by supporting sponsors and ECG Central Laboratory upload of ECG studies.
