Dating violence victimizes most teens

More than half of teens report being victims of dating violence, according to a recent study of adolescents presenting to a pediatric emergency department (PED). Post-term boys more likely to be obese as teens

Here’s something else to screen patients for in the fight against the obesity epidemic. A study has found that boys born at more than 42 weeks’ gestation run a much higher risk of rapid weight gain and obesity in adolescence than term boys, although no such correlation was found for girls. » More
