Analytica 2016: Highlights of Day One
Tuesday 10 MayMunich, Germany — Welcome to the first day of coverage of Analytica 2016 in Munich, Germany. The trade fair will be held at its regular venue of the Munich Trade Fair Centre. The conference is being held at the ICM – Internationales Congress Centre, München, directly next to the exhibition halls, from 10–12 May as part of the international trade fair. The conference will cover all areas of analytical chemistry and bioanalysis – from nano, food, and environmental analysis through to imaging and “omics” techniques. These daily show guides from LCGC Europe and LCGC North America will keep you abreast of what is happening throughout the week.

Tuesday Morning Sessions
10 MayMunich, Germany Analytica 2016 will be in full swing on Tuesday 10 May and the morning sessions kick off with a lecture from Carolin Huhn on Versatility of Capillary Electrophoresis – Applications and Instrumental Innovations for Multidimensional Separation followed by Detlev Belder on 2D Separations in the Micro World. Alejandro Cifuentes will examine Recent Developments and Perspectives in Foodomics and John R. Yates III will discuss Using Mass Spectrometry to Understand Cystic Fibrosis as a Protein Misfolding.

Tuesday Afternoon Sessions
10 MayMunich, Germany — The afternoon sessions of Analytica 2016 on Tuesday 10 May will feature a lecture from Peter Schoenmakers on Increasing the Resolution, Speed, and Sensitivity of LCxLC Separations, Neil Kelleher on Native and Denatured Modes for Interrogation of Whole Proteins and Protein Complexes by Top Down Proteomics, and T. Stahl will talk on Studies on the Paths of entry of Per- and Polyfluorinated Alkyl Substances (PFAS) in Foodstuffs and in the Food Chain by the use of LC–MS–MS.
