Analytica 2016: Highlights of Day Two
Wednesday 11 MayMunich, Germany — Welcome to the second day of coverage of Analytica 2016 in Munich, Germany. The trade fair will be held at its regular venue of the Munich Trade Fair Centre. The conference is being held at the ICM – Internationales Congress Centre, München, directly next to the exhibition halls, from 10–12 May as part of the international trade fair. The conference will cover all areas of analytical chemistry and bioanalysis – from nano, food, and environmental analysis through to imaging and “omics” techniques. These daily show guides from LCGC Europe and LCGC North America will keep you abreast of what is happening throughout the week.

Wednesday Morning Sessions
11 MayMunich, Germany Analytica 2016 will be in full swing on Wednesday 11 May and the morning sessions kick off with a lecture from Lennart Martens on Standards as the Gateway to Assured Analytical Quality in the Field of Proteomics. Simon Ivar Andersen will discuss the Analysis of Quenching Effects in the Fluorescence of Heavy Oils and Asphaltenes and Wolfram Seitz will take a look at Practical Aspects of the Analysis of Organic Micropollutants in Wastewater.

Wednesday Afternoon Sessions
11 May — Munich, Germany — The afternoon sessions of Analytica 2016 on Wednesday 11 May will feature a lecture from Guowang Xu on Towards the Comprehensive Analysis of Metabolome, Frank David on The role of GC separation, MS ionization, and MS resolution in Fuel Characterization, and Ilkka Ojanperä will talk on QTOF for Drug Screening in Postmortem Toxicology.
