Patient sues after wrong ovary removed

A woman presented with worsening right-sided pelvic pain and an ultrasound revealed a complex cyst on her right ovary. A diagnostic laparoscopy showed no cyst on the right ovary, but an adhesion, which was removed, and inflammatory problems were found on the left. The patient presented with significant pelvic pain a couple of days later and her right ovary was subsequently removed. She sued for alleged negligence. What's the verdict?
