Over the next five days Ophthalmology Times Europe will be reporting on the main symposia and presentations from the ESCRS Congress in Paris. For those of you who have not been able to make the trip to France you will have the opportunity to read about what went on. For those in Paris we hope to provide you with an insight into some of the symposia you may have missed.
Day 1: New IOL materials and micro design
On the opening day of the Congress OTEurope will be bringing you reports from the Clinical Research Symposia including presentations about IOL design, accommodative IOLs, light adjustable lenses and the sizing of phakic IOLs.

Day 2: Making an easy transition to multifocal IOLs
On the second day of the Congress OTEurope will be hosting a breakfast session together with Carl Zeiss Meditec. In addition to hearing from key opinion leaders, delegates will also hear firsthand from patients who have received multifocal IOL implants.

It’s the 20th anniversary of LASIK and we will bring you presentations covering excimer delivery systems, customized treatments, the advent of the femtosecond laser and what the future holds for LASIK. More...

Definitions and measurements, corneal surgical techniques, intraocular surgical techniques for phakic IOLs and pseudophakic IOLs. There will be presentations from Russia, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
