PTC also announced that it has promoted Dr. Jay Barth to vice president of clinical development. // Dr. Janet Hammond has joined Roche (Basel, Switzerland) as Vice President, Translational Medicine—Virology in Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development. In her new role, Hammond will be responsible for driving strategy and implementation of early clinical development for the Virology DTA. // The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE; Tampa) has hired Bryan Wright as European Regulatory Affairs Advisor, effective April 1. In his new capacity, Wright will act as liaison between ISPE and European regulatory authorities to help expand relationships between regulatory bodies and ISPE, shape ISPE educational offerings, and keep ISPE members informed of relevant regulatory developments originating from European regulatory authorities. // Amber Edwards has been hired by Draftfcb Healthcare (New York) as EVP and Group Management Dirctor. In her new role, Edwards will lead the agency's DTC healthcare accounts, including Novartis, Merck, Lilly, and Amgen. //
