  • May 3–6: BIO 2010 (Chicago). This year’s conference will highlight how the biopharmaceutical industry is developing the life sciences in vital areas. Attendees will gain insight about the next great medical breakthroughs.
  • May 5–6: EuPAT4 (Kuopio, Finland). The topic of EuPAT4, taking process analytical technology (PAT) to the next level, underlines the importance of comprehensive process understanding. In addition, EuPAT4 will continue to showcase novel PAT methods and their applications.
  • May 12–14: Pharmintech (Bologna).   • May 18–19: Basics of Tablet Manufacturing and Troubleshooting (St. Charles, MO). This course is designed for anyone in the tablet-compression industry, including pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, confectionary, and industrial employees. It will benefit tooling technicians, tablet-press operators and maintenance technicians, quality-control personnel, research and development scientists, and supervisors.
  • May 25–27: Total Processing and Packaging 2010 (Birmingham, UK). This conference is one of the United Kingdom’s largest and most complete showcases of production-line products. It showcases machinery, equipment, materials, and services to the UK processing and packaging industries.
