Calendar of Events
  • Mar. 2–5: IMHX (Birmingham, England). IMHX will showcase thousands of products and services that are intended to inspire materials-handling excellence. The event will feature materials-handling equipment, health and safety systems, software solutions, storage systems, pallets and palletizing systems, recruitment and training, transport and distribution, packaging, and warehousing.
  • Mar. 4–5: INTERPHEX Puerto Rico 2010 (San Juan, PR). INTERPHEX Puerto Rico 2010 will show attendees how to adapt to all aspects and phases of the changing life-sciences environment. Advancements in technology and solutions for improving manufacturing efficiencies will be on display.
  • Mar. 9–10: The Pharma Congress (Dusseldorf, Germany). This event combines special subject-matter conferences and an exhibition. The Congress comprises seven conferences, including the Barrier Systems Conference, which deals in detail with current technological developments in barrier systems. The Current Aseptic Technologies conference concentrates on pivotal developments in sterile manufacture such as increasing contamination safety through new technologies.
  • Mar. 17: Lean Manufacturing: What is the State of Lean–Six Sigma in Pharma and Biotech? (Orlando, FL). This interactive workshop, which follows the 2010 PDA Annual Meeting, will discuss the core principles of Lean Six Sigma and how companies can implement them. Participants and facilitators will share case studies to give attendees practical and relevant examples of successes and failures.
  • Mar. 24–26: Root Cause Analysis for CAPA (Dublin). This course is intended for all personnel concerned with quality and the analysis and correction of problems. The material presented will be of value to personnel of various levels of expertise and will emphasize the pragmatic. It will be particularly valuable to those new to this field and those who wish to refresh their knowledge of these technologies.
