  • PLÜMAT’s (Espelkamp, Germany) BFL 854 fully automatic aseptic filling and sealing line for presterilized bags meets the growing trend in the pharmaceutical industry for packaging injectable drugs in flexible bags using an aseptic filling process.

  • Aug. 9–11: Pharmaceutical Tablet Technology (St. Charles, MO). Tablet-press operators, tablet-press maintenance technicians, granulation technicians, quality-assurance personnel, and supervisors with experience or backgrounds in chemistry, biology, engineering, and pharmacy will benefit from attending and actively participating in discussions during this course.
  • Aug. 17–18: ImVacS (Cambridge, MA). This conference’s four vaccine-focused meetings will address innovating strategies to meet current health threats, changing technology for vaccine manufacture, top challenges faced during preclinical development, and progress underway for adjuvants and novel delivery systems.
  • Aug. 17–19: CPhI South America (Buenos Aires). Attendees will meet more than 150 exhibitors from 20 countries, get in contact with suppliers and distributors during the Match and Meet program, and expand their networks during colocated conferences.
  • Aug. 23–25: CGMP Quality Principles for Pharmaceuticals, Biopharmaceuticals, Biologics, and Medical Devices (King of Prussia, PA). This course is intended to give participants a thorough understanding of current good manufacturing practice (CGMP) principles, as well as tools that may be used in developing and managing CGMPs.
  • Aug. 26–27: Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Quality Control Laboratories—A Regulatory Compliance Primer (King of Prussia, PA). This course will provide participants with an understanding of how to effectively handle out-of-specification results, deviations, laboratory investigations, and corrective and preventive actions.
