  • The High Temperature PTFE Whirly from Lechler (St. Charles, IL) is a rotating tank-cleaning nozzle that incorporates two Hastelloy rings that control the expansion of the material so that the device can continue to spray reliably in high temperatures.

This event focuses on upstream and downstream processing for biological manufacturing, production and good-manufacturing-practice specialists.   • July 1: Topical Dermatological Product Development: New Brunswick (New Brunswick, NJ).   • July 13–14: Bioanalytical Method Development and Validation (Toronto). This course provides approaches to developing reproducible bioassays using live systems or biologically derived reagents. In addition, a workshop on writing validation protocols will provide hands-on experience.
  • July 20–22: Fundamentals of Blending, Compression, and Coating of Tablets and Tooling (St. Charles, MO). This course is designed for individuals in the tablet-manufacturing industry that desire to improve their fundamental skills.
