The Bridging Clinical Research & Clinical Health Care Collaborative was founded to address three industry challenges:
|
- Poor recruitment is the leading cause of clinical trial failure
- Less than 3% of patients and physicians participate in clinical research
- Most patients and physicians are unaware of clinical research opportunities
|
Our mission is clear: To double the number of physicians and patients involved in clinical research — from less than 3% up to 6%. Currently, there is a divide between clinical research and clinical health care, but by bridging this gap we can attract more patients and physicians to clinical research. To do so would be an immense step toward improving the viability of clinical trials and the future of health care.
