TSK-GEL® and Toyopearl® Resins for
Oligonucleotide Purifications
The
Tosoh Bioscience laboratories
recently completed a series
of experiments to determine
the oligonucleotide dynamic
binding capacities for Toyopearl
and TSK-GEL anion exchange resins.
The resin selection table below
presents the data obtained from
these experiments using a 20-mer
oligonucleotide with the sequence
5’-GAA TTC ATC GGT TCA
GAG AC-3’.
Please
note that the TSK-GEL
SuperQ-5PW bulk resins are
available in 20 and
30µm particle sizes to provide superior
resolution performance for your “n-1” purifications.

2010-2011 catalog (see page
17) showing these and other
properties of TSK-GEL SuperQ-5PW
resins. (May require registration
to our website)
Toyopearl
SuperQ-650M resins have
the highest capacity shown due to lower crosslinking
than the corresponding TSK-GEL
resins. This lower percentage
of crosslinking leaves a higher
number of ligand attachment
sites available for increased
binding capacity.
