During the 13th Annual PDA Conference on Pharmaceutical Microbiology Course Series, Oct. 18-19, participate in your choice of four courses that will enhance your knowledge of microbial management, microbiological risk assessment techniques, and the regulatory aspects of non-sterile microbiology.
Choose one or more of the following four courses:
Investigating Microbial Data Deviations | Oct. 18
Explore the regulatory and scientific considerations, such as roles of manufacturing, the testing laboratory, and quality assurance, that must be applied globally for microbiological data deviation investigations. You will leave this course with practical knowledge of how to design and conduct investigations of microbiological test data that appears inconsistent with expectations and trends.
Regulatory Aspects of Microbiology in a Non-Sterile Environment | Oct. 18
Delve into the key microbiological issues involved in the manufacturing of non-sterile products. Topics discussed in the course will be reinforced with a case study analysis in which attendees will work in teams to discuss some of the various regulatory issues that are encountered in a plant environment and report their findings to rest of the group.
Microbiological Risk Assessment of a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Process | Oct. 19
In this course designed for quality and manufacturing professionals, learn to develop a microbiological risk assessment based on specific pharmaceutical products or processes. Course activities include reviewing risk assessment tools such as the Failure Modes and Affects Analysis (FMEA) approach and using this approach to evaluate process and behavior to identify areas of potential microbial contamination and minimize risk.
Developing a Microbial Monitoring Plan and Leveraging New Technologies for Effective Sterility Assurance in Aseptic Processes - New Course | Oct. 19
Gain insight into the tools and guidelines needed to design a strong cleanroom microbial monitoring plan and obtain a solid understanding of the rationales for leveraging new technologies for effective sterility assurance in aseptic processes.
