Getting Started
The contents of this product are designed to be viewed directly from the media (CD or DVD) using a web browser. To access the content, open the file start.htm in your web browser.

Software Requirements

Windows^®:

• Windows 98 or newer
• Internet Explorer with Active Content enabled or Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox, Opera, or any browser with Java and JavaScript (AOL browser not supported), Java 1.4 or newer (if using non-IE browser)

Macintosh^®:

• Mac OS X 10.3.4 or newer (older versions will not be able to search)
• Safari 1.3.1 with Java and JavaScript enabled,
• Java 1.4.1 update 2 or newer

UNIX^®/Linux^®

• Netscape, Mozilla, Firefox, Opera, or any browser able to use Java and JavaScript (Konqueror is not supported)
• Java 1.4 or newer

All Systems must have:

• Adobe^® Reader^® 7.0 or newer for viewing PDF content (version 7.0.5 or newer recommended).
• Additional software may be needed to view some materials included on this product.

Viewing the files on this CD-ROM

• HTML files
  Your web browser will be able to handle these files.
• PDF Files
  You will need to have Adobe Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader, version 7.0 or newer installed.
  If you do not have Adobe Reader on your computer, you can download a free copy at: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Copying this product to your hardrive or network

• Create a folder on your hard drive or network where you will put the files.
• Open the CD-ROM for this product in your file browser.
• There are two items you need to copy from this product into the folder you just created. They are:
  
  
  • The HTML file named "Start.htm"
  • The "data" folder
  • You do not need to copy over any other files.
     
• Once the files are finished copying, you may want to create a shortcut on your desktop. To do this, select the main HTML file on your hard drive or network then:
  
  
  • Windows: Right-click the main HTML file and select Create Shortcut.
  • Mac: Select File > Make Alias.

You can copy this shortcut to anywhere on your computer (including your desktop).

• You can now remove the product CD-ROM from your computer and launch (or double-click) the main HTML file from your hard drive or network.

Removing this product from your computer or network

• Just delete the folder containing the main HTML file and "data" folder. If you created shortcuts to the product, you will want to delete those as well.
