Over the weekend, I had a functional review of the leadership and noticed that there was still some "iffiness" around the initiative. The functional presentations were not Gold Standards., assumptions that assumed mediocrity and a "Passing-the-buck" syndrome when it came to making and meeting commitments were also evident. This is clearly not the spirit of Gold Standards. This is clearly not the HCL Infosystems, we want to be. This is clearly not "Us being Us."- Full Potential.
I wish to re-emphasize that this initiative is about "all of us" and "not some of us". There is NO "80:20 rule" here; it has to be 100%. There is NO "Bell Curve" here. It is one and all. Each and every one of us have to become Gold Standards., we may have varying levels of competencies, experiences and operating environments but to be part of HCLI, we have to deliver and demand Gold Standards.
For all those enthusiastic HCLites who sent mails, messages and called about the program, ensure that you share your experiences, ideas and reasons for being enthusiastic, so that you create that positive energy for others to appreciate and align to our cause.
It is important that we are clear about why are we doing this, what we want to achieve, how we want to achieve and by when we want to achieve it. The Gold Standards. Team would launch a portal in the coming week end, where they will provide a platform for you to make and monitor your pledge. Our first goal is 100% pledge from each and every one of us. Yes, 100% . It is not "how many of us take the pledge, it is by when?".
To make it fun, watch this space for the goodies!!!
I would like to give about 3 weeks post the launch of the portal for each and every one of us to complete the pledge. It is only then that we would really and truly get going.
