This webinar will introduce the Capillary Ion Chromatography for use in environmental and food and beverage applications. The analysis of bromate and perchlorate at low ppt level detection limits using a direct injection of 10 uL or two dimensional IC methods in drinking water and beverage samples will be presented. Furthermore, applications for Inorganic anions, organic acids, cations, and carbohydrates in environmental and food & beverage samples will be discussed and the benefits capillary IC brings. The advent of capillary scale ion chromatography brings multiple advantages. With “Always On, Always Ready” a capillary system can operate continuously for a full year (24/7) on just 5.25 L of DI water. The typical injection volume is just 0.4 μL and ng/L detection limits can be accomplished with a 10 μL injection. With eluent generation, a system with capillary chemistries allows undiminished sensitivity and selectivity with a minimum involvement by the ion chromatography user, including reduced eluent usage and ease-of-use. A live Q&A session will follow the presentation.
