The Analytical Challenges in Metabolomics
In this video, Bob Kennedy of the University of Michigan discusses the challenges of metabolomics—such as coping with data overload and dealing with small amounts of sample—as well as methods to improve analysis, such as using capillary LC and derivatization. He also talks about what it's like to be an analytical chemist in biologist's world, and how to convince the ‘omics community of the importance of chromatography.
