Poverty is a daily disaster for many Americans; join MAGIC in supporting our industry’s efforts to give back to people in need!
Dear MAGIC Exhibitors:

Poverty is a daily disaster for many Americans. The national unemployment rate has risen from 5.6 percent in June 2008 to 9.5% in June 2010. Nearly one in five children under the age of 18 lived in poor families in 2008.

You have an opportunity to help the growing number of families in economic distress. Please join MAGIC and your industry peers in donating your excess inventory to Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. K.I.D.S. has been in existence for 25 years and, since its inception, has distributed close to $1 billion worth of new merchandise to over 67 million individuals, ages 0-18.

Help replace despair with dignity by donating your excess product to people in need, and get a generous tax deduction for your company. To donate your excess product, go online to www.KIDSdonations.org. Use an online form or simply print out the donation form and fax it to K.I.D.S.; they will contact you immediately to coordinate shipping your product directly to the families that can use it.

Also, please consider joining us December 1, 2010 at K.I.D.S.’ Silver Anniversary in New York City; John Goodman of Sears/K-Mart and Oscar Feldenkreiss of Perry Ellis will be honored.

Thank you for your support of those we could not do without your help.

Sincerely,

Chris DeMoulin
President, MAGIC and Board Member, K.I.D.S.
