Once swallowed, ALICAM captures high-resolution, 360-degree images of the entire gastrointestinal tract and identifies GI disease quickly and accurately. ALICAM allows dogs to be imaged at home or in the clinic. There is no need for sedation or anesthesia and dogs can remain fully active during a study. A board certified internist reviews every examination and provides a detailed report with treatment recommendations. The information obtained may suggest a biopsy is needed or that a specific medical regimen is warranted.
