Time is running out to register for the 2016 PDA Visual Inspection Interest Group Workshop, which will be held on May 18. Take part in this exciting one-day workshop featuring extensive discussions on hot topics in the field of visual inspection. This is the first time this Workshop has been offered in the U.S.; however, it will follow a format that has proved highly popular and successful in Europe. The unique format of this Workshop makes it the perfect platform to share professional experiences and discuss core topics with industry peers.

This interactive Workshop will feature discussion-based sessions on topics that the Program Planning Committee has identified as potential areas in which visual inspection professionals face the greatest challenges due to minimal industry guidance. Selected topics include:

  • Practical aspects of implementing and complying with USP General Chapter <790>
  • Challenges of transitioning from manual to automated inspection processes

In conjunction with the Workshop, PDA Education will offer the 2016 Visual Inspection Course Series (May 16-17 and May 19-20), presenting two optional courses in the field of visual inspection. On May 16-17, participate in An Introduction to Visual Inspection to examine the fundamentals of visual inspection. Then, on May 19-20, learn about the three analytical techniques used in visual inspection with the Foreign Particulate Examination, Isolation and Analysis course.
