In recent years, the demand for polymer analysis services at Intertek’s Allentown facility has grown significantly. The site utilizes several techniques for polymer analysis including gel permeation chromatography (GPC). To address some of the inherent limitations of GPC, Intertek implemented the ACQUITY Advanced Polymer Chromatography (APC) System. This case study describes application examples as well as key benefits observed including rapid solvent equilibration, better resolution of low molecular weight polymers, and faster run times.
