Call for Papers

April 2011 Supplement: Defense and Homeland Security

A spectroscopy magazine is seeking contributed manuscripts for its April 2011 supplement on Defense and Homeland Security.

This supplement will examine the application of spectroscopic techniques to defense and security needs. For the purposes of example, articles in past issues of this supplement have covered topics such as chemical imaging of fingerprints contaminated with explosives; the use of handheld spectroscopic tools in the analysis of improved explosive materials; the analysis of age, authorship, and authenticity of documents, and the analysis of chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals.
