The Inspector 500, featuring SWIR Raman technology, has become the new choice in handheld Raman analyzers. SWIR Raman features a novel 1030 nm laser and proprietary detector. The 1030 nm laser suppresses fluorescence, allowing for even highly fluorescing compounds to be easily analyzed - including those complex API's and Excipients that traditional 785 nm lasers cannot analyze. Equally important, the proprietary detector technology operates with very low power consumption - yielding a lightweight, truly handheld Raman analyzer. The Inspector 500 is a waterproof, dustproof, lightweight Raman analyzer you can use all day long. And because it's sealed, it's impervious to dust and can be safely washed to avoid sample contamination or cross contamination.
Doing SERS or Small Sample Sizes?
The 500 also docks into our SCOPE accessory. The SCOPE features a microscope, digital camera and XYZ stage ideal for examining small regions or particulate using the 20 um laser inherent in the Inspector.
