The Compass™ energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzer from IXRF Systems offers lab quality analysis in the field. Models may be equipped with a 12 position sample wheel for processing multiple samples, automated and unattended. The Compass™ may also utilize a 7-element secondary target system for superior background reduction and premium ppm-level detection. Additional options include air or vacuum and Helium flush for liquids and light element analysis as well as multiple excitation spot sizes using a 60kV, 12W x-ray tube. Units also include sample storage, battery and 12V power, as well as Windows 8 tablet operation with GPS capability.
