Katanax, a SPEX SamplePrep company, is pleased to announce the launch of a revolutionary X-Fluxer line of fusion machines. The Katanax X-600 Fluxer is the next generation in electric fusion offering new enhanced features for unparalleled results. This six-position heavy-duty, fully automated, electric fusion machine has a throughput of up to 30 samples per hour. It is used to prepare glass disks (beads) for XRF analysis and solutions for ICP/AA analysis including peroxide and pyrosulfate fusions.
Built with the most demanding lab in mind, the X-600 fluxer combines speed, simplicity and a robust design for the experienced or novice user. The system shares the Katanax, K-Series industrial graphical interface renowned for its simplicity and stability.
Automated, heavy-duty 6-position electric fluxer that heats samples in a closed furnace. Capable of producing beads for XRF and solutions for ICP/AA.
Heating is achieved through patent-pending, robust sealed elements that require no conditioning and are impervious to flux.This makes the X-600 the ideal electric fluxer for the experienced or novice user.
Automatic power calibration achieves excellent reproducibility across all crucible and mold positions.
Non-contaminating, easy to clean, ceramic crucible and mold holders are inert to flux. The mold holder system is user-configurable to 30, 32, 35 or 40mm molds in minutes.
Runs on standard, single phase 205-250 VAC at 4000W with no external power supply or cooling fluids.
LCD touch-screen interface with icons and menus that makes the operation easy and efficient. The system shares the Katanax, K-Series industrial graphical interface renowned for its simplicity and stability.
