Hand's on session on Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis
Register Today

Join Bruker Optics for an education workshop on:  Advanced Vibrational Spectroscopy - Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis.

We will host a lunch and learn at these half-day workshops.  The goal is to cover basic and advanced techniques used in FTIR spectroscopy.  Optimization of instrument components, acquisition parameters, and post processing methods to obtain a high quality FTIR spectrum will be discussed in an introductory session.  Sampling techniques relevant to different applications will be also overviewed and demonstrated.

The application examples will include polymer identification, surface characterization, failure analysis, microscopy and chemical imaging. The seminar will include a live demonstration of our ALPHA II FTIR and BRAVO Handheld Raman spectrometers.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their samples.

Application examples including polymer identification, surface characterization, failure analysis, microscopy and chemical imaging. Additionally, you will learn how to:

• Optimize FTIR spectrometer settings to get best results
• Choose of proper sampling technique
• Identify chemical compositions, monitor chemical reactions, and reverse engineer competitor products

Bring your samples for hands-on session!

All workshops will be held from 9:00am - 12:00pm with lunch and demo's starting around 12:30pm
