Earlier this year, CloudMinds Technology attended the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) conferences: BIOS and Photonics West. The XI™ Smart Raman device was showcased at these events as the world’s first cloud AI-based handheld Raman spectrometer with 785nm laser excitation that’s integrated with CloudMinds Data A1 smartphone technology.

XI™ Smart Raman Device Wins Prism Award at SPIE 2019
During the conference, XI™ Smart Raman was also announced as the winner of the Prism Award for sensors and detectors. We are truly honored to be chosen from 150 candidates as the winner for this prestigious award among so many innovative products from small start-ups to multi-national corporations that are changing our lives for the better.

New and Upcoming Products from CloudMinds Technology
CloudMinds is excited to announce several exciting new products for handheld Raman spectroscopy that are ideal for applications in food safety, pharmacy and defense!

Designed for non-homogenous samples, XI2 is CloudMinds’ new handheld Raman spectrometer that uses a Lissajous scanning mechanism to scan an area versus a single point for Raman measurement. With two scanning waveforms that can be rotated 32 degrees to provide a linearly adjustable rectangular field of view, as well as a mems mirror made of silicon with an ultra-high
reflectance coating, XI2 is perfect for measuring for SERs substrates, APIs, food inspections and similar applications.

XI3 is another exciting new addition to the CloudMinds handheld Raman family for applications in police and military defense. XI3 integrates three instruments into one smart device for onsite detections of explosives and drugs: a smart Raman spectrometer, an instant radiation detector (<2s) and a vapor and residue identifier for tracing explosives. Both devices are also available with a fiber optic extension for use with irregular or large sample sizes.

XI4 is an ultra-high sensitivity spectrometer specifically designed for the on-site trace detection of drugs left on surfaces or in hair samples, such as fentanyl (down to 1ng/ml). Within seconds the device reads fluorescent immunochromatography reagent cards, displaying and reporting the results instantly. These results can then be shared instantly to the cloud database via Wi-Fi, 4G or Bluetooth.

We hope that you’re excited as we are about these innovative new products! If you have any questions or would like to receive more information about these products, please contact CloudMinds Technology at info@cloudminds.com.
