The OncLive® Franchise Unit Newsletter (F.U.N.) aims to share updates with the business unit, make mention of a few standout efforts, and provide, on occasion, a run-on introductory sentence that really seems to go nowhere after a certain point, leaving readers to wonder what exactly they are reading, not to mention why they are reading it, all the while pondering if they should even continue reading, only to have it abruptly end.

Editorial
- The ASCO 2021 coverage was a record year for OncLive®! We covered 120 abstracts and have filmed over 100 KOL interviews thus far. This was the largest amount of coverage Editorial has done to date, and it was great to collaborate with the other oncology franchises.
- The OncLive® editorial team welcomed 3 new hires to the team! Jackie Collins has started as an Associate Editor and handles print responsibilities and is reporting to Brittany Lovely. Ryan Scott and Maggie Tibbit have joined us as Assistant Editors on the digital side of the brand and are reporting to Courtney Marabella and Kristi Rosa, respectively.
- To date, OncLive® has covered 24 conferences in 2021!

Marketing
- Marketing welcomes intern Tess Clemente for the summer. Tess have been actively involved on several National Broadcast and webinar projects since joining MJH Life Sciences™ last month.
- During the first half of 2021, we witnessed over 5,700 registrants for our virtual events.
- July 7th marked the one-year anniversary of the first Institutional Perspectives in Cancer (IPC) virtual event. Over the course of the first six months this year, we have hosted 54 IPCs, cobranded 47 of these educational gatherings with some of the world’s leading cancer care institutions, and partnered with 60 Key Opinion Leaders to chair the discussions.
- Last month we completed a user experience research project to better understand how oncologists utilize our website. These lessons learned will be used to enhance the visitor experience and create a more valuable digital offering for the oncology community.

Live Events
Last month the Events team, hand in hand with the Ambassador, Clinical Communications, and Studio teams executed over 21 events, not including countless hours of KOL engagements! June also saw the return of in-person programming with the ASCO Direct Highlights – Dallas conference. Sharron Reed and Elisha Garcia were on-site to welcome back our exhibitors who were so excited to see our faces again! A heartfelt THANK YOU for the countless hours, long nights, and commitment to excellence in making every program a success.
