America's First Specialty Eye Hospital Turns 200

As the institution looks to the future, we are united by our commitment to healing, our world class ophthalmology training, and our focus on making a meaningful impact on the lives of countless patients nationally and internationally. Our ability to stay curious and drive to improve patient care has helped NYEE to thrive and remain relevant for over 200 years and we thank our faculty, staff, community physicians, and administrators for their unwavering support of NYEE.
In honor of our bicentennial celebration I am proud to share a special issue of our annual chair report. As we celebrate our past achievements, the talented faculty and scientists profiled in this report are already defining new frontiers in ophthalmology in our rapidly changing world.
Sincerely,
James C. Tsai, MD
