Analysis of Cannabinoids in Hemp
This application note outlines a QuEChERS method for the analysis of hemp for three cannabinoids. Sample purification is carried out using UCT’s new cleanup product SpinFiltr™.

Heavy Metals Testing in Cannabis
This application note demonstrates a simple way to test the heavy metals in cannabis using PERSEE’s PF7 heavy metal analyzer. Compare it to ICP and ICP-MS: you still can achieve lower detection limits and better repeatability with significant lower running costs and simpler operation.

CRM Mixtures Improve Quantitation Accuracy
Pre-made, multicomponent CRM mixtures save time and consumable cost in the preparation of standard curves and improve quantitation accuracy.

Microwave Digestion and Elemental Analysis
of Cannabis and Hemp Products
This application note demonstrates the CEM MARS 6 for microwave digestion of mixed cannabis and hemp containing products in a single run and elemental analysis of these products.

Microwave-Assisted Digestion of Various
Cannabis Products with Pressure-Activated Venting
This application report demonstrates the suitability of HVT vessels with SMART VENT Technology for convenient and reliable digestion of cannabis-based products prior to spectroscopic analysis.

Analytical Data Confidence Is Highest
with Commercially Prepared CRM Mixtures
High-quality reference materials with established metrological traceability are an essential element for measurement accuracy during routine analytical checks as well as for cannabis product quality testing and profiling. We compare two different methods using CRMs to generate a standard for the quantitation of 10 prevalent phytocannabinoids against a calibration curve to show that premade multicomponent CRM mixtures improve quantitation accuracy.
