WSAVA updates guidance document after dog reportedly infected with coronavirus
Soon after news broke of a pet dog in Hong Kong testing "weakly positive" for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), WSAVA updated its guidance document. Fortunately, the dog is not showing any clinical signs of COVID-19, but will remain quarantined for further testing. Despite this worldwide health scare, WSAVA says standard precautions are still sufficient.
