MIP & PIP Procedure

MIP Criteria Action items Exit Criteria
Class I If a particular Analyst had made Two errors within 2weeks from the day the first error occurred then the analyst falls to class I MIP A verbal warning would be given and sign off would be obtained If a particular Analyst does not fail within next 2 weeks, MIP status is cleared and closed.
Class II If a particular Analyst who is already in Class I MIP makes another error within next 2 weeks, Analyst moves to Class II MIP In Class II, sample size would be increased to 50%. Communicate MIP Class II to individual analyst with SME/TL/Process Manager sign-off If a particular Analyst does not fail within next 2 weeks, MIP status is cleared and closed.
Class III If a particular Analyst who is already in Class II MIP makes another error within next 2 weeks the Analyst falls into Class III MIP In class III MIP particular Analyst will be taken off from the production floor and will be given refresher training for one day Communicate MIP Class III to individual analyst with SME/TL/Process Manager sign-off The particular Analyst would resume production on completion of training and clearing the assessment.

If an Analyst receives an external complaint will fall into Level I PIP
Sample size would be increased from sampling of 30% to 100%
Refresher/Remedial Training by SME
Communicate PIP Level I to individual analyst with SME/TL/Process Manager sign-off
If a particular Analyst does not fail within next 2 weeks, MIP status is cleared and closed.
Level 2 If a particular Analyst who is already in Level I PIP receive another complaint within next 2 weeks, from the day the first complaint occurred then the Analyst moves into Level II PIP
or
If a particular Analyst who is already in Level I PIP receive more than 1 complaint in next two months from the date of first complaint occurred then the Analyst moves into Level II PIP
Sample size would be increased from sampling of 30% to 100%
Refresher/Remedial Training by SME
Communicate PIP Level II to individual analyst with SME/TL/Process Manager sign-off
If a particular Analyst has not received any complaints/errors in the same month, PIP status is cleared and closed.
Level 3 If a particular Analyst who is already in Level II PIP receive another complaint/ make an error then the Analyst moves into Level III PIP Communicate Level III to individual analyst with SME/TL/Process Manager sign-off
